About Massage TherapyR.M.T. Registered Massage Therapist In the province of Ontario a person who holds an R.M.T. license has completed a minimum of 2,200 hours training in the areas of anatomy, physiology, pathology, kinesiology, hydrotherapy, remedial exercises, treatment of medically related conditions. Upon graduation from a massage therapy college, approved by the Ministry of Education and Training, students are examined and licensed by College of Massage Therapists of Ontario under the Regulated Health Professions Act and the Massage Therapy Act. Beyond "feeling good", massage therapy has a wide range of therapeutic values and effects.
